Privacy policy
Last updated 30 October 2026.
Rollcall is published by New Game Solutions (ABN 61 324 261 199). This policy explains what happens to information when you use Rollcall. It is written to follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
The short version
- Rollcall has no accounts, no sign-up and no forms. It does not ask you for personal information.
- Searches run in your browser. The text you type is not sent to us.
- Rollcall does not run analytics and does not set its own cookies.
- Our host and Google (for advertising) can collect technical information from your visit. Details below.
What the site publishes
School pages show organisation details taken from public sources: school name, address, phone number, coordinates, sector and type. These are details of institutions, not of individual people. Suburb pages show area-level statistics from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Rollcall holds no information about students, parents or staff.
Information collected when you visit
Hosting. The site is served by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical data to deliver pages and keep the service secure, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested and the time. Rollcall does not use this data to identify you. Netlify may process it on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Advertising. Rollcall loads Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ads and prevent fraud. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show you ads based on your visit to Rollcall and other sites. At the time of writing no advertisement is displayed on Rollcall pages, but the AdSense code is loaded. We do not control, and do not receive, the personal information Google collects this way.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or through aboutads.info/choices. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Email. If you email chris@newgamesolutions.com.au, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it to reply, to check and make a correction, and to keep a record of corrections. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your details.
Links to other sites
Rollcall links to Find My School, My School, Find a Kinder, the VRQA State Register and school websites. When you follow a link you leave Rollcall and that site's own privacy policy applies. The Find a Kinder link carries the coordinates of the school or suburb you were viewing, not your location.
Keeping information
Server logs are kept by Netlify under its own retention settings. Emails about corrections are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and to show what was changed, then deleted.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing chris@newgamesolutions.com.au. The privacy contact is Christopher Karageorge. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
If Rollcall starts using analytics, accounts or other services that collect information, this policy will be updated first and the date above will change.
